Job Description: Vision & AI engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Vision & AI engineers(Junior/Senior)  to contribute to the design and development of advanced navigation sensor suite for space surveillance and satellite rendezvous. 

 Responsibilities:

• Design computer vision software for object detection, classification and identification

• Develop algorithms for pose-estimation and tracking of spacecrafts

• Build deep learning algorithms to train CNN like networks for space-like conditions

• Build & Validate synthetic data sets

• Conduct experiments to validate algorithms in space-like simulated environment 

• Implement algorithms in C++/Python environment

• Build Software and Hardware In Loop test beds for testing

• Work closely with GNC team to aid in rendezvous operations

Expected Skills:

• Bachelors in Computer Science/Electrical engineering fields

• In depth knowledge of image and data processing, computer vision and SLAM

• In depth knowledge of ML algorithms like CNNs, SVMs and attention learning for classification and segmentation, neural network optimization

• Experience in code deployment and debugging on real time systems

• ‘Can do’ attitude to solve problems and take ownership of products

• Comfortable working with both hardware and software

Desired Skills:

• Advanced degree in engineering or science (Masters/PhD)

• Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, balancing multifaceted requirements, assessing risks, and making informed design and development decisions

• Experience in building optical software and hardware simulators

• Experience with multi sensor fusions and estimation algorithms 

• Experience in neural networks/ data processing for 3D-point clouds.
