● Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform complex 3D dimensional inspections

● Apply GD&T principles to interpret datums, form, profile, orientation, location, and runout tolerances on engineering drawings

● Perform dimensional verification of machined parts, welded assemblies, composite structures, and raw materials

● Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) and generating complete ballooned drawings

In-House & Supplier Source Inspection

● Perform receiving inspections on purchased, machined parts and materials against purchase order requirements, and Certificate of Conformance documentation

● Conduct source inspection at supplier facilities, verifying conformance to engineering drawings, SOW, PO requirements, and company quality standards prior to shipment acceptance

● Review supplier material certifications, test reports, and quality records for completeness and conformance prior to acceptance

● Documentation & Quality Records

● Complete all inspection reports, dimensional data sheets, and FAI packages accurately and in compliance with traceability requirements

● Review and verify accuracy of ballooned drawings, inspection travelers, control plans, and inspection plans prior to use

● Maintain complete traceability of flight hardware, lot records, and serialized part histories throughout the inspection process

Quality System & Continuous Improvement

● Support development and review of Inspection Plans, Control Plans, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for both internal and external manufacturing processes

● Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, providing dimensional data and objective evidence to support failure analysis

● Identify and escalate systemic quality risks proactively; recommend improvements to inspection methods, tooling, and processes

● Mentor junior inspectors and manufacturing staff on proper metrology techniques, drawing interpretation, and quality documentation practices
